John Frederick is a master Blacksmith with over 40 years of experience in all phases of the metal working industry. He started smithing while in college at Purdue University in Indiana. After graduation, he worked 20 years in sand foundries and steel mills. In 1989 he left the high stress of his management position and started his own blacksmith shop. Frederick makes all kinds of metal-mixing traditional and contemporary art forms in his work. His pieces include many varieties from ornate, stair railings to unique pieces of jewelry.
